Relatively new to Flagstaff, Robin Pete has spent most of her life on the Navajo Reservation, calling Ganado her “home town.” For more than 30 years, she has served in numerous educational roles: from English teacher to instructional coach, assistant principal, principal, education coordinator/lecturer for ASU’s iTeach Program, and community college instructor.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Robin went to Penn State University and graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Secondary Education/English. She obtained her Master’s in English from Middlebury College, VT, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from NAU. For the last six years Mrs. Pete worked as an administrator at Flagstaff High School. In coming to Ponderosa High School, she loves what it offers to staff and students: getting to know each other in the smaller environment, flexibility in courses and opportunities provided with the greenhouse and Terra Birds. In her spare time you can find her working outdoors, doing DIY projects, and mostly hanging out with her grandkids.
